Description of Organisation

Greaves West & Ayre is a dynamic, rapidly expanding practice of eleven partners and 90 staff, based in the North Northumberland town of Berwick-upon-Tweed. With the practice ethos of ‘Quality Advice, Quality Service’, we strive to meet all our clients’ needs. As well as the traditional compliance services of accounts preparation, auditing, taxation compliance, PAYE and VAT processing, we pride ourselves on providing proactive value added services which include capital tax and wealth planning by our dedicated Investment Business department.

Our commitment to staff training and development is second to none, a fact evidenced by the fact that eight of our eleven partners trained with the firm prior to being admitted to partnership. Our supportive business and training environment will give you the opportunity to excel both personally and professionally.

The firm boasts a large and diverse client base which ranges from sole traders to multi-million pound turnover organisations. We act for clients located across the whole of the UK from our base in the North East.

Successful applicants are assured of receiving comprehensive and diverse training which will have an emphasis of developing an adaptable Chartered Accountant and general business adviser.
