Description of Organisation
Okay, so we’re not one of the ‘Big 4’. We don’t have
a prestigious London address, and can’t offer you international travel
or glamorous pop star clients.
But look beyond our lack of a glossy graduate brochure
and you’ll
find an ambitious firm with plans to grow the business, and we’re
looking for individuals who can help us achieve this.
You need to have
a strong academic record but more importantly you also need the right
skills and personal qualities which will ensure you can
provide our wide range of clients with the highest quality service and
professional advice.
Henderson Loggie are currently one of the top four
independent accountancy firms in Scotland.
Description of vacancy(s) offered
Once you’ve joined us at Henderson Loggie, you’ll be given the opportunity
to work on a variety of clients, ranging from sole traders to major companies
and public sector organisations. Each day is different and brings new challenges
whether it be learning how to do your first accounts preparation exercise, corporation
tax computation or being involved in meeting with a client to discuss their business.
Your education and training commences on your first day with us and continues
throughout your career. Ongoing development is essential to ensure that you are
able to meet the demands of the ever changing environment, whether the changes
be legislative or as a result of your progression through Henderson Loggie. Your
education will be provided by external and internal sources. The knowledge gained
through these training mediums coupled with the skills developed through your
day to day work will enable you to progress successfully towards your end goal
of being a qualified accountant.
Minimum entry requirements : Competition for trainee positions is strong, therefore we are looking for candidates with a strong academic record. We look for a 2:1 degree or above, together with good communication skills, and a commitment to continued professional development.
