At Standard Life, you'll train as a Chartered Accountant while working at the leading edge of the industry. Based in Group Finance, you'll follow a professional training programme laid out by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland (ICAS), qualifying after three years. Accountancy trainees follow an internal training scheme of six-month placements in Group Accounts, UK Life & Pensions Finance, Standard Life Investment Finance, Standard Life Bank Finance and Group Internal Audit.

Minimum entry requirements : A 1st or 2:1 degree in Accountancy, Maths or Science subject is required, however, other degree types will be considered as long as you are able to give evidence of your commitment to a career in Accountancy.
